Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava

How to find us? Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava is located in the hub of Telliskivi Creative City at Telliskivi 60a house C9. The entrance is behind the Fotografiska (and former Vaba Lava) building. Easiest way to find us is to walk through between restaurants Lendav Taldrik and Kivi Paber Käärid, pass a small inner parking lot and in the end turn left. You can also check the map:

How to get there

By Public Transportation

tanzhaus nrw is conveniently located close to Düsseldorf Central Station.

  • Düsseldorf Central Station (Hbf): approximately 800 m / 10-minute walk
  • Worringer Platz: approximately 400 m / 5-minute walk
    • Tram: 704, 708, 709
    • Bus: 721, 722, 732, 738, 834

On Foot from Düsseldorf Central Station

From Düsseldorf Central Station, follow Worringer Straße past the bus station and continue along Erkrather Straße. After crossing the railway bridge, turn left into the courtyard of the former tram depot.

Follow the historic tram tracks through the courtyard to the main entrance of tanzhaus nrw.

By Car

A limited number of free parking spaces are available on-site.

The parking area is located behind the venue and can be accessed via the driveway on the left-hand side of the building.

By Metro (Recommended)

  • Yellow Line (Linha Amarela) to Cidade Universitária station.
    • The station is located on Av. Prof. Gama Pinto, a 7**-minute walk**
    • Metro operates daily from 06:30 to 01:00, with trains every 5–8 minutes
    • Accessible by elevator—there’s one right at the surface on Av. Prof. Gama Pinto

By Bus

  • Carris lines that stop very close: 701, 731, 732, 735, 738, 755, 764, 768, among others
    • Nearest stops: “Cidade Universitária”, “Cantina Universidade” (1–3 min walk), and “Hosp. Sta. Maria – Av. Prof. Gama Pinto” (3–4 min).
    • For example, from Campo Grande catch 701 or 764, arriving at “Hosp. Sta. Maria” in ~8 minutes
    • These buses run roughly every 30 minutes, fare: ~€3 single journey

By Suburban or Regional Train

  • Entrecampos station is ~19 minutes on foot
  • Lines serving this station include Sintra, Azambuja, Setúbal, and some IC trains

O Espaço do Tempo

Today, O Espaço do Tempo occupies the former premises of Oficina Magina, an industrial building located in the city center at Rua Sacadura Cabral 10, 7050-306, Montemor-o-Novo.

If you are travelling, Montemor-o-Novo is accessible exclusively by bus through a national company called Rede Nacional Expressos. The city is located one hour away from Lisbon.
